Instruction/Reference and Liaison Librarian

Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, seeks an Instruction/Reference Librarian with Liaison responsibilities in the social sciences.

This individual will collaborate with teaching faculty in assigned departments to design, deliver and assess innovative library instruction programs. S/he will work to integrate information literacy and research skills across the curriculum.

Liaison responsibilities will include developing partnerships with teaching faculty in the social sciences and serving as the departments’ primary contact person in the library for collection development, library instruction, and information about library services.

The successful candidate will also provide reference services, including some evening and weekend shifts shared with six other librarians. Librarians at Saint Mary’s hold tenure track positions without rank.
