Library Information Systems Specialist

Reports to Information Technology Services – Information Systems office; provides vision and leadership to the Rod Library for the development of an integrated framework; administers and maintains library specific systems, applications, and develops custom
applications, system integration, and reports; and creates specifications from general guidelines. Bachelor’s degree in library science, computer science, information management or related field plus at least two years of experience with integrated library and discovery systems; experience in application development and metadata standards;
excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff is required. Master’s degree and work experience in an academic library and/or classroom instruction is preferred. Criminal and other relevant
