OPENINGS – POST STAFF and PUBLIC
COPY CATALOGER – PART-TIME HOURLY – Technical Services Department, Headquarters Part-time - 15 hours/week – No Benefits - $12.49/hr. to start. Annual step increases at the end of the first year to $13.20/hr.; at the end of the second year to $13.91/hr.; at the end of the third year to $14.26/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES: This is technical and clerical work in the classification and cataloging of print library materials. Responsible for copy cataloging. Searches online databases for catalog records, edits records, creates holdings records for materials being added to database. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a standard high school, preferably supplemented by some coursework in the humanities, social sciences, or science, and/or experience in circulation or associated library processes; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that has provided the knowledge, abilities, and skills listed in the attached job description TO APPLY: Send cover letter, resume and completed AACPL Employment Application Form to Terry Bowen, Chief of Human Resources, at humanresources@aacpl.net.
