     MATERIALS RECEIVING CLERK– PART-TIME HOURLY – Technical Services Department, Headquarters

     Part-time - 15 hours/week – No Benefits - $8.09/hr. to start. Annual step increases at the end of the first year to $8.51/hr.; at the end of the second year to $8.80/hr.; at the end of the third year to $9.02/hr.

     RESPONSIBILITIES: This is routine manual and limited clerical work in preparing books and other materials for circulation and inventory control. Work involves receiving, unpacking, sorting, checking and verifying books and other materials. Work involves pushing carts of books weighing up to 100 lbs., and lifting and moving boxes, using equipment, of up to 75 lbs.

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Formal schooling sufficient to work requirements, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that has provided the knowledge, abilities, and skills listed in the attached job description.
