REGULAR STAFF – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FOUNDATION - 1 Opening – Fulltime at Library Headquarters
Grade 20MA – 37.5 hours/week
Salary Range: $56,022 - $93,307
Excellent benefits package includes eligibility to earn up to 4 weeks of annual leave, starting with first year of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provides overall leadership to the AACPL Foundation, including strategic direction and tactical execution and oversight. Work involves planning, managing, cultivating, and securing philanthropic support for the Foundation’s annual fund, endowment, major campaigns, planned giving, and program support of the Library. Serves as a member of the Library CEO’s leadership team and is expected to contribute to the Library’s brand and external profile through his or her activities in the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in business management, marketing, public relations, or related field; eight to ten years’ of progressively responsible and successful fundraising and development experience, with increasing levels of responsibility in leadership; demonstrated success with major fundraising campaigns; knowledge of board governance, and skill in cultivating board engagement; CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification; and three years supervisory experience.
