California State University, Sacramento seeks to fill a Library Services Specialist IV in the Technical Services Department of the University Library. Technical Services includes acquisitions and cataloging functions while also providing support for collection development. Work is highly collaborative and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. This position is responsible for the acquisition, receipt, renewal of library materials; payment of invoices; account reconciliation and communication with campus accounting and outside vendors of library materials; provides statistics and analysis in support of the collections budget and allocations. This position directly contributes to student and faculty success by acquiring the library materials needed for research and instruction.

As the center of campus intellectual discovery, the University Library promotes teaching, learning, research, and scholarly communication at the University by integrating the Library with campus student success programs and instruction. One of twenty-three libraries in the California State University System, the Library holds over 1.4 million volumes, comprised of print and electronic monographs and serials, and is a Federal Document Depository.
