Cynthia Bautista is a talented Children's Librarian at the Commerce Public Library and the Presidenta of the Los Angeles REFORMA chapter, her storytimes are featured at the local Starbucks and has received many accolades for her impressive performances with puppets!

The Los Angeles chapter of REFORMA invites current and admitted graduate students in Library and Information Science (MLIS) to apply for the 2012 - 2013 scholarship competition. This year, students can apply for two scholarships using one application.

Application Deadline: January 7, 2013

If students choose to apply for both the Elizabeth Martinez and Dr. Karin Duran scholarship, only one scholarship per student will be awarded. Elizabeth Martinez Scholarship was created for all Library and Information Science (MLIS) students. Dr. Karin Duran Scholarship was created for Library and Information Science (MLIS) students pursuing careers with an academic or archival focus.
