In this second installment by the author-illustrator team, Mouse and Cat are back just in time to celebrate the annual Cinco de Mayo festival. Mouse’s humorous antics to get a bite out of the sights and smells of this celebracíon are shadowed by a determined cat that relentlessly pursues our furry friend. Cox does an outstanding job developing a unique voice for the animal character, which makes this book a delightful read-aloud for early readers.  At the same time, Ebbeler’s lively, vibrant and colorful illustrations bring to life into the Cinco de Mayo holiday. Highly Recommended.
