JCLC 2022 Kickoff with Gaming & Social Fundraising Events

Play online games, network, and socialize while supporting JCLC 2022!

We're gearing up for JCLC 2022! The 4th National Joint Conference of Librarians of Color will be held October 5-9, 2022, at the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida. The conference is organized by JCLC, Inc., a nonprofit organization that advocates for and addresses the common needs of the five ethnic affiliate associations of the American Library Association (ALA): the American Indian Library Association (AILA), the Asian/Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA), the Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA), the Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA), and REFORMA. We hope you'll make plans to join us!

To make this event as successful as previous years, we're kicking off our fundraising efforts with the first of two gaming and social events on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 4 p.m. PST. During this event, the JCLC 2022 Steering Committee will gather with us to unveil the conference theme. There will be online games like Pictionary, Taboo, and Spyfall, and a virtual space for networking and socializing. The second event will be on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 1 p.m. PST.

Purchase your tickets on Eventbrite for the April 7 event and the April 24 event. We are asking for a $50 donation; however, the minimum donation is $1. There are seats for only 300 participants per session, so get your tickets today!

Can't make the social events? There are other ways to support us, including Amazon Smile or a direct donation via PayPal. We thank you for your support of JCLC 2022.

Game on!
