Call for Participation: Resistencia y Asistencia Task Force

Dear REFORMA Members and Allies,

In response to the recent joint statement and call to action from NALco and ALA leaders, REFORMA is forming the Resistencia y Asistencia Task Force to gather authoritative and comprehensive resources addressing the challenges faced under the current administration. This initiative will focus on critical issues, including immigration, women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and more, ensuring that our communities have access to vital information and assistance.

The work will be done asynchronously and requires quick action from members to compile resources in a timely manner. This will be a commitment of 1-6 months.

We invite members who are passionate about advocacy and resource-sharing to express their interest in joining this important effort. If you would like to be part of the Resistencia y Asistencia Task Force, please submit your name along with a brief statement explaining:

• Why you would like to be a part of this task force
• What skills, knowledge, or experience you can contribute to strengthening our collective work

Send your response to past-president@reforma.org by February 24. 2025. Your participation will help fortify our commitment to supporting and empowering our communities in these critical times.

While we deeply appreciate all expressions of interest, please note that we may not be able to accept everyone onto the task force due to capacity limitations. However, we value your willingness to support this initiative and will explore ways to engage all interested members in this important work.
