Juan Lopez Statement

Dear Reformistas:
I respectfully submit my candidacy to serve you as REFORMA CHAPTER REPRESENTATIVE (EAST REGION).

As a chapter representative East coast region I will work to develop a network of resources distribution to meet the demands of many isolated communities in our region. 
I will work to develop a comprehensive online directory to identify many services that libraries are already providing, but they are difficult to promote across State lines. 
I will add a Streaming channel to Reforma’s website to highlight interviews of many of our members doing extraordinary work on their communities. 
I will work to bring to the table many non-profit organizations that serve our Hispanic communities and have information distribution of initiatives like the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics
In addition, I will work with local and federal government agencies to increase the funding for Limited English Proficient (LEP) support programs.
