Collection Assessment Librarian/Coordinator
One (1) open position to be filled as either a Librarian I or Librarian II or Administrative Program Coordinator University of Texas Libraries, The University of Texas at Austin Salary is $47,000+ per year, negotiable depending on qualifications First review of applicants is Monday, February 26, 2018 The University of Texas Libraries (UTL) seeks a Collection Assessment Librarian to provide leadership and expertise in the development and application of collection assessment strategies that inform and advance the UTL agenda. The Collection Assessment Librarian will work closely with the Head of Assessment on departmental projects including quantitative and qualitative analysis. This position also works collaboratively with staff involved with collection development, systems access, departmental liaisons, and acquisitions. Essential Functions: Coordinates collection, analysis, and documentation of assessment data for print and electronic collections. Develops assessment strategies for key content acquisition models, including but not limited to e-resource packages and demand-driven, evidence-based programs, interlibrary loan, and open scholarship. Uses data visualization tools like Tableau to communicate assessment results. Makes data-driven recommendations to guide collections-related decisions and inform strategy.
