STAFF OPENING – POST STAFF and PUBLIC ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY invites applications for the position of Programming & Outreach Coordinator. REGULAR STAFF: PROGRAMMING & OUTREACH COORDINATOR - Fulltime LOCATION: Headquarters Grade 16GA – 37.5 hours/week Salary Range: $48,367 - $79,926 (Offer based on experience) Excellent benefits package includes eligibility to earn up to 4 weeks of annual leave, starting with first year of employment. Responsibilities include: Professional work providing programming and outreach to the public of all ages. The majority of time is spent providing outreach to targeted populations and working on system-wide projects. Incumbent may participate at a system level in training, planning and other committee activities or projects. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree awarded with two years of experience working in a library and/or educational setting. Two years of supervisory experience. Necessary Special Requirement: Completion of Library Associate Training Institute within two years of hire; and ability to maintain eligibility by completing 90 contact hours of training every 5 years. Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish. The Library reserves the right to not fill a position if there is not a qualified candidate.
