Employee Relations Manager
The Tulsa City-County Library has an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager to join the Human Resources Team. The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for managing a diverse range of activities related to employee relations. This position will develop, interpret, and recommend employment action and advise, counsel, and train leaders and employees to minimize organizational risk and maximize employee engagement. A strong candidate must be forward thinking and driven to maximize employee engagement in order to help the Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) achieve its vision where everyone is reaching his or her full potential. TCCL operates seven days a week and this position must be flexible to meet the needs of leadership during those times.

The Employee Relations Manager should be knowledgeable in HR policies and procedures and able to aid management in understanding and addressing legal requirements. The Manager will work with staff to provide in depth coaching, conflict resolution, as well as conducting internal investigations of employee relation issues. The Employee Relations Manager must be skilled in de-escalating employee disputes and working with staff to resolve issues in a confidential and timely manner.
Salary Median Range: $6,422.00 / month

Physical Activity: Work requires occasional stooping or bending; occasional moderate lifting (up to 40 pounds) may be required; frequent use of office equipment as well as long periods of sitting, standing, or walking as needed.
Work Environment: Work environment involves no major sources of discomfort; work is essentially conducted in a work environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions.
Travel: Routine in-town travel with occasional out-of-town trips. Reliable personal transportation is required.
