Special & Digital Collections Digital Archivist
The Auraria Library is hiring a Special & Digital Collections Digital Archivist to join Auraria Library’s Special & Digital Collections. This is a term-limited contract position with a 3-year contract. The Special & Digital Collections Digital Archivist is responsible for identifying items for digitization with the Special & Digital Collections Program Lead Librarian and Archivist Librarian, digitizing those items using best practices, creating discovery and metadata for objects, and instituting long-term preservation workflows. The Special & Digital Collections unit is housed within the Collection Management and Discovery Division. As a unit, we are driven to support faculty and staff learning and research through our unique holdings. |

| Requirements |
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
- 2+ Years' experience working with digital repositories, and digital libraries, including digital humanities, metadata, and/or digitization.
