Community Engagement Bookmobile Supervisor
Skokie Public Library seeks an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Bookmobile Supervisor to provide an incredible experience to all patrons. As Bookmobile Supervisor, you will oversee the operations and services of the bookmobile, cultivating teamwork, innovation, community connections, and safety. In collaboration with community partners/volunteers and library advisory staff, you will plan and coordinate the homebound delivery program. With a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, you will bring library services to the community, collaborating with staff across Community Engagement and other library departments to deliver bookmobile services, while incorporating the library’s vision, mission, strategic plan, and culture.

The ideal candidate will have two years of public library or other public service experience; a safe driving record and valid Illinois B license with air brake endorsement or willingness to obtain one within one year of employment; familiarity with current adult and juvenile material, and at least one year of supervisory or leadership experience.
