Outreach and Inclusion Librarian
The University Library at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) seeks an Outreach and Inclusion Librarian, a tenure-track library faculty position designed to support the University and University Library’s goals for student success, inclusive excellence, and community engagement. Supported by a strategic plan framework and an institutional infrastructure for inclusive excellence, the candidate will work collaboratively in the library and across campus on initiatives aimed at creating an inclusive community and fostering co-curricular user engagement. The successful candidate should be bilingual in English and Spanish and must demonstrate cultural fluency, awareness of the needs of underrepresented populations, knowledge of contemporary trends in critical librarianship and/or social and economic justice, and a demonstrated potential for achievement in library community engagement.
