Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of relevant software and applications, for example:
- Electronic resources management system (ERMS)
- Link resolvers
- Discovery services
- Unified library systems
- The administrative functions of proprietary database
- Usage statistics (COUNTER/SUSHI)
- Knowledge of KBART, OpenURL
Understanding of the following:
- the role of electronic resources in the educational and research mission of the University
- authentication and identity management as relates to library electronic resources access
- records management necessary for actively coordinating and managing the often-complicated records needed to track electronic purchases, subscriptions, access set-up and maintenance
- Familiarity with trends in electronic resources management and usage |

| Requirements |
Required Education, Experience
· MLS from ALA Accredited graduate program or international equivalent
· One year (12 months) of work experience in a library or equivalent setting performing highly complex duties that require an extensive working knowledge of the techniques and practices of electronic resources management
· Experience implementing and maintaining services for management of electronic collections, such as knowledgebase, link resolver, discovery service, statistics, collection assessment, and ERM components |
