is the Communications Director for the Los Angeles Public Library, which serves more than four million people—the largest and most diverse urban population of any library in the United States. In this role, Lauren helps manage the Public Relations and Marketing Office, overseeing a $2 million budget and staff of 10. Lauren is a people person, a devoted lover of words, and a do-gooder at heart. So, this is basically her dream job. Always an avid library user, Lauren loves getting to share the message that the library's programs and services can help people reach any goal they set. Outside of work, Lauren has been married to her college sweetheart for 15 years, and they live in Arcadia, CA with their three sweet and spunky children. Lauren is a diehard Dodger fan, a committed bargain shopper, and the proudest (and loudest) mom at every one of her children’s baseball and basketball games and ballet performances.
